Violent And Abusive Patients
The practice operates zero tolerance and will not tolerate aggressive or violent behaviour towards our staff or members of the public.
Anyone giving verbal abuse to members of staff or other patients will be sent a letter from the Practice Manager advising that this behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in being removed from the practice list.
Staff come to work to help and care for patient and it is important for our staff to be treated with courtesy and respect.
The practice recognises that there can be contributory reasons for patients behaving in difficult or challenging ways, however, where this tips over into aggression or violence, the practice will adopt a zero-tolerance approach.
