This website provides information on the South East London healthy living programme as well as excellent resources on diet, physical activity and motivation and mindset related to weight.

Centre for obesity - referrals

New FREE Cookery Clubs in Bexley

Our free cookery clubs run once a week for two hours over five weeks. They’re perfect for anyone looking to expand their recipe collection and improve their diet.   

Book a place on the next series of cookery clubs which are taking place:

On Mondays - from 3rd March to 24th March and 7th April, 10.00am to 12.00pm at Salvation  Army, Welling High Street DA16 1TJ

On Tuesdays - from 25th February to 25th March, 10.30am to 12.30pm  at The Nest Community Building, 3 Cygnet Square, Thamesmead SE2 9FA

This is a new weight management programme for people living with Type 2 Diabetes with a focus on supporting people to adopt a very low calorie diet for 3 months.

This is a fantastic resource and provides lots of information and guidance on how we can become more physically active.

Moving Medicine
We know that incorporating regular physical activity into our daily lives is difficult; this is made even more difficult when we are living with a chronic disease. This website provides evidence-based guidance on how we can get more active whilst living with a chronic disease.
