Enhanced Access
Our surgery is part of a Primary Care Network (PCN). A PCN is a small group of neighbouring surgeries who work together. The other surgeries within our PCN are:
Our PCN has worked to provide additional appointments to patients that are outside our usual opening times. These are known as “Enhanced Access” appointments. You may be offered an Enhanced Access appointment before 8am or after 6.30pm on weekdays, or on Saturdays between 9am-5.00pm. These may be telephone or face-to-face appointments. These appointments may be offered at any one of the PCN surgeries so please be aware that you may not be seen at The Albion Surgery.
If you have been offered an Enhanced Access appointment and need to cancel it, please email bhnc.8to8hub@nhs.net.
Before attending your appointment, please remember the following points:
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their responsible adult.
- Please try to arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 5 minutes late, we may have to rebook your appointment.
- Please remember that each appointment is for one problem only. If you need to discuss more than one problem, please complete a separate e-consult for each problem or highlight this when booking your appointment on the phone.
- Please remember that each appointment is for one person only. We are not able to discuss family members or friends during your appointment.
- We do not provide dental treatment or follow-up on complications which arise as a result of dental problems or dental treatment. Please see your dentist. If the problem is urgent and you are unable to contact your usual dentist, please ring 111 who will be able to direct you to emergency dental services.
