Bereavement is the experience of losing someone important to us. It is characterised by grief, which is the process and the range of emotions we go through as we gradually adjust to the loss. The service is flexible and built around the needs of each individual. Support aims to reduce the risk of suicide and mental health issues in those who have lost a loved one suicide, and to help them cope with their loss. Additionally, we can provide one-to-one support to people who have witnessed the suicide of someone they did not know.
