A&E - Accident and Emergency
If you have a medical emergency or are experiencing life-threatening symptoms, please ring 999 or go to your nearest A&E department. You do not need a GP referral in order to do this. A&E departments are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A&E is only for genuine emergencies so please leave it for those who need it.

If you have an urgent medical issue that is not a life-threatening emergency, please consider ringing 111 or going to an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC).
