Repeat Prescriptions
If you are on long term medication your doctor may authorise you to obtain repeat prescriptions from the surgery.
All our repeat prescriptions come with a tear-off request slip listing the names and doses of your medication. Requests can be made by ticking any item you require and handing in or posting the request to us.
Please let us know if there is medication you are no longer taking by indicating this on the repeat order slip. There is also a letter box provided at the front entrance for prescription requests after the surgery has closed. Please allow three working days for your prescription to be processed before collection.
We now offer an online form for prescription requests.
To use our new online form please see below.
Please make sure you include your full name address, and of course the medications you require
When ordering prescriptions please bear in mind the following:
- in order to avoid potentially dangerous errors we regret that we cannot take prescriptions requests over the phone. All requests must be written.
- We require a minimum of three working days to process your request.
To try and make your life easier we have daily collections from most of Bexleyheath's Chemists and also your prescription can be electronically sent directly to a chemist of your choice. Please inform our reception team if you would like to register for this service or you can collect your prescription from the Surgery.
If you are unable to get to the surgery to collect your prescription, you can either arrange with a local chemist to have your prescription collected and made up or we can return the prescription to you by post if you enclose a stamped addressed envelope. Please note we do not process prescriptions on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holiday.
