Medical Services
As a practice we provide a comprehensive range of services. The complete range can be found in our practice leaflet at the reception, but we will try to list some of the more popular ones here.
Maternity Medical Services
All the doctors
provide maternity services and like to see their patients as early as
possible in the pregnancy. They will organise further care with
community midwives who will share your antenatal and postnatal care.
Please tell the receptionists when making your appointment that it is
for an antenatal or postnatal check-up.

These clinics are
run by the practice nurse. They offer a lifestyle check which is
particularly aimed at helping to reduce the risks of heart disease. The
clinic is aimed at anybody aged 20 to 75. The nurse will check on your
current state of health by measuring your height, weight and blood
pressure and testing your urine. Where appropriate she will send you for
a blood test blood to check your cholesterol level. She will then give
you advice on how to reduce your risks of developing disease - she can
also offer help to lose weight and give up smoking.

This is held each
week by a female practice nurse. Women who are due to have a cervical
smear will be invited to attend, but all female patients can self refer
by making an appointment at reception. A general health check will be
