Receptionists

They have a difficult job to do with telephone calls and enquiries coming from every direction. When you telephone for medical attention the receptionist may need to ask for a few details in order to judge the urgency of your request. They have been asked to do this, but the information you give will always be treated in confidence as they are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as doctors and nurses.

Administration Team

We have two medical secretaries Sylvia Springett and Siobhan Herity. Gloria O’Connell is in charge of data processing and patient registration. In addition we also employ Yvonne Miller who is responsible for the administration of insurance company medical reports and all non-NHS medical services provided to our patients. Dawn Beasley is the clinical administrator for data quality control. Should you have any queries regarding these matters please speak to one of our team.

Counselling

There are counselors based at the Albion Surgery who have been trained to help with a range of personal and emotional problems. This service is available for patients wishing to see a counselor after discussion with your doctor.

District Nurses
