Registering
We accept patients who reside within the following practice
boundaries.
However, if you are outside of these boundaries and still wish to
register with us, the Partners may consider allowing patients to
register that are slightly outside of our area, depending on the
circumstances, please contact Gloria O’Connell who is responsible for
patient registration for further advice.
Practice Area

When you come to register
On registering with the practice, we need your basic details - name, proof of address, date of birth, and details of your previous doctor. If you have your medical card please bring it along. You will be invited to attend our new patient screening clinic. As it can take several months for your medical record to arrive from your previous doctor, it gives us a chance to make sure that your vaccinations are up to date and that any regular medication is recorded on the computer. The nurses will take your medical and family history and carry out checks such as blood pressure and urine analysis.
Your New Doctor
Although you will be registering with the Albion Surgery, for
continuity of medical care you will be allocated to a named doctor. If
you prefer to be treated by another doctor in the practice please inform
the nurse at your new patient screening appointment. Your request will
be dealt with by the practice manager.
